In 2015 and 2016, Aberlady Conservation and History Society led an exciting new community heritage project focussing on Aberlady’s Anglo-Saxon past. An eclectic programme of events provided all sorts of opportunities for involvement, from participation in an archaeological excavation to a range of crafts workshops, and an Anglian feast formed the grand finale!
